Kulautuva's natural surroundings provide a great opportunity to blend changing natural forms with contemporary architecture. The surrounding environment of the design plot not only allows the architecture to blend with the surrounding nature but also extends the effect of the sloping terrain through the building's volume and facade designs.

The composition uses positive and negative space principles. By deepening the existing terrain, we can create spaces there, while the raised volume above it creates a flowing effect.

The interior spaces are planned with very clear zones. A transparent vestibule, through which we enter the house, connects two main volumes. One volume contains the spacious living room, while the other contains the living quarters. On the basement level, there is a leisure area with a sauna and outdoor pool.

This natural composition is strengthened by using materials and colors that match the environment. Long brick tiles run horizontally across the ground, while vertical wooden elements represent the trunks of pine trees.
